Lemechi Obidike is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 11 years of healthcare experience, dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. She takes a holistic, patient-centered approach, treating the whole person not just the symptoms. Lemechi believes in empowering patients to actively participate in their care and works collaboratively to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each person’s unique needs, goals, and preferences. Her services include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, supportive therapy, and practical coping strategies grounded in evidence-based practice guidelines. She creates a warm, culturally responsive, and nonjudgmental space where patients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their healing journey. Lemechi works with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations and has experience treating depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, psychosis, PTSD, substance use disorders, mood and personality disorders, sleep disturbances, and impulse control and behavioral concerns. Hope King, LMSW
Hope King, LMSW, is a dedicated and trauma-informed therapist whose career spans more than two decades of working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her experience extends across behavioral health, foster care, family systems, and community-based environments. At the heart of her practice is a genuine commitment to ensuring every client feels seen, supported, and equipped with the tools they need to heal both in and out of the therapy room. Mrs. Hope works with clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation challenges, trauma, women's mental health concerns, self-esteem, family stress, and life transitions. She brings a wealth of hands-on experience supporting youth and families facing trauma, emotional abuse, behavioral difficulties, school-related pressures, and significant life changes. Her style as a therapist is warm, collaborative, and deeply individualized always centering the unique strengths and needs of each person she works with. Her practice draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), solution-focused therapy, psychoeducation, mindfulness, DBT-informed coping strategies, and trauma-informed care. Working with children and adolescents is an area where Mrs. Hope truly shines. She meets young clients where they are through creative engagement, tailored communication, and intentional rapport-building that creates a foundation of trust and emotional safety. She also maintains strong collaborative relationships with schools, families, and community providers to holistically support each client's emotional, behavioral, and academic well-being. Mrs. Hope holds dual undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Social Work, along with a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Salisbury University. She has held her Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) licensure in Maryland since 2018 and carries additional certifications in Women's Mental Health, Independent Living Services, and Lethality Assessment Training. She offers individual and couples therapy for children, adolescents, and adults ages 7 and up, delivered via telehealth across Maryland.
